Carlos Antonio Alvarez

Carlos “Tony” Antonio Alvarez passed away in a tragic automobile accident Monday, February 20, 2023 at the young age of 45. Carlos was born at Riverside hospital in Toledo, Ohio on July 23rd, 1977 to Edna Maria Alvarez.

Carlos’ passion was music, so much so that he spent several years as a DJ in the Toledo area. Carlos obtained his GED at Penta Career center in 2012. He loved to cook, watch movies and discover new music in his free time. Above all, his true passion was being a father to his two girls Mikayla and Kiya Alvarez.

He is survived by, in addition to his daughters, sisters, Maria (Jon) Brasel from Pemberville, Ohio, Rosa (Benjamin) Quaintance of Cincinnati, Ohio, 4 Nieces, and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Edna Maria Alvarez, and Stepdad John C. Elrod and maternal grandparents Ermelindo and Rosalina Alvarez.
