The world lost a great man, husband and father with the passing of Bud L. Grose on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010. Bud was born in Findlay, OH to William C. Grose and Gladys P. (Paxton) Grose on April 16, 1933. They and his brothers Bill and Robert preceded him in death.Bud served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War from 1951 through 1953. Bud volunteered for a second tour of duty. His 7th division was the only division to get as far north as the Yellow River .After being honorably discharged, Bud established Grose Generator Service and the Battery Shop, which he successfully operated until his death. Both businesses are still operated by his son, Robert, and his wife, Margie.Bud is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 34 years Margie, son Robert (Pam) and daughters Mary Brown (Steve), Stacy Grose, Jody Dusseau (Randy), six grandsons, one granddaughter and sisters Marlene Rose (Merle) and Maxine Havis.Bud loved to garden and enjoyed his home, yard, the outdoors and his many friends. He especially enjoyed entertaining his family and friends in his home and garden.The family would like to thank all of our special friends for all their kindness and support. They would also express their deep appreciation to their neighbors and good friends, Fred and Val White, for all their help and consideration.
