Brittany Smillie

Brittany Smillie, age 40, of Perrysburg Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2026, at Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born on January 6, 1986, in Norwalk, Ohio.

Brittany was the beloved daughter of Glen Smillie and Kandy Ostheimer Smillie, and a loving mother to her son, Stylz, and daughters, Selyseon and Jymeire Williams. She was also a proud grandmother to Kingston Williams and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second grandson, expected in February.

She joins in Heaven with her cherished and adored grandparents; Henry and Deanna Ostheimer, and John and Myra Smillie, as well as her uncle, Keith Ostheimer and her stepmother, Sherri Smillie.

In addition to her parents, children and grandchildren; Brittany is survived by her sister, Mindy Ostheimer, of Sandusky; her nieces, Ariana Curley, of Port Clinton, and Brianaysa Curley, of Sandusky; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brittany’s memory to the American Stroke Association. A GoFundMe has also been established for Brittany.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
