Brian Lindo

Brian Lindo peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on November 5, 2008. He was born in the Bermuda Isles on January 12, 1930 to the late John and Isabel (Marshall) Lindo.On October 15, 1949 he married Ruth Boyd and came to the U.S. with his wife, three children and a lot of determination. He was a true entrepreneur, having owned several businesses. Brian was a wonderful provider and the beloved head of the Lindo family. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Ruth of 59 years and their children; David, Deborah, Gail, Donna Kountouris and Lauri. He is also survived by his brother Sylvan Lindo of Bermuda; his grandchildren: Brandon, Brian, Brooke, Nicole, Angela, Meagan, Ciara, Danielle, Brittaney, and Kristina; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Hall, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The family has entrusted the Cremation Society of Toledo with the care of Mr. Lindo. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and Flower Hospital.
