Brett Alan Morawski, born on November 10,1970, in Toledo, Ohio to Ron and Judy Morawski, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55 on December 19, 2025.
He was a graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School and ranked in the top 10 out of 3000 students on the SAT Tests before completing his mechanical engineering degree at the University of Dayton in 1993. He worked for many large companies in the automotive engineering field in Toledo and Detroit, such as Cooper Tire, Ford, Dana, Delco and Applied Technology. He loved woodworking, motorcycles, boating and airplanes. He started building an airplane in his own garage and he had to rent a hangar at the airport to complete it. He built specialized display racks for retail stores throughout Ohio and Michigan while he was in Highschool. For a time, he even built and sold quality homes. He prided himself on being able to do all his own repair work on anything. He wore his heart on his sleeve and would offer his help to anyone needing it.
Brett is survived by his loving parents, Ron and Judy; brother, Brian; long-time girlfriend, Sue; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and longtime friends.
He was a funny, loving, caring son and will be dearly missed and loved for the rest of our lives.
