Brenda S. Long-Bryant

Brenda Sue Long Bryant passed away at age 71, on May 14, 2023.

Brenda is survived by her 3 children, son Steven McGauley, daughters Christy McGauley French and Shannon Nolan. Brenda is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brenda was the oldest of 7 siblings, Harry Long, James Long Jr., Raymond Long, Robin Kothe, Roberta Sheets, and Eric Leverenz. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents James H. Long Sr. of Venice, Illinois. and Dorothy June Leverenz of Toledo, Ohio, her husband Dwight Bryant in 2019, and brothers Harry and James Jr.

Brenda was born in Granite City, Illinois on October 15, 1951. Brenda was raised in Venice, Illinois and attended Venice High School, class of 1969. Brenda was a Loan Officer at Northern Ohio Investment Company for 33 years before her retirement in 2021.

Brenda was of the Christian faith and attended United Methodist Churches her entire life. Brenda was an avid genealogist. She researched her ancestry and enjoyed meeting and visiting with family members.

Celebration of Life services are to be held at Woodland Park Shelter, 429 East Boundary St Perrysburg, OH 43551. Services to begin on Friday, May 26 at 4:00 pm.
