Bonnie L. Owens

Bonnie Lee (Wagner) Owens, passed away August 11, 2022. She was born October 7, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Frances (Stritzel) Wagner. Bonnie was a 1958 graduate of Whitmer High School and worked for the United States Postal Service for over 25 years. Bonnie married Robert Owens on April 21, 1959 in Waterloo, IN, which they were married for 63 years until his passing on May 26, 2022. Bonnie is survived by her children, Tammy, Allen, Michael, and Nicholas. One son preceded her in death. She adored and loved 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will be on August 18, 2022 at Sylvania Elks Lodge #53, 3520 N. Holland Sylvania Road, Toledo, OH 43615 from 1 – 4 pm. The family suggests offerings to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
