Bonnie P. Mccarley

Bonnie McCarley, age 70, of Fostoria, Rossford, and Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was born May 15, 1951 in Fostoria, Ohio to Gerald and Rosa Marie Boggs. Bonnie married Danny McCarley in Fostoria and they later divorced. She also married Gale Snider, and after their divorce, they found a lasting friendship. Bonnie explored the states, living in North Carolina, Alabama, and other regions. She was preceded by the deaths of her sons Jodie Boggs and Dennis McCarley, and older brother Terry Hunt. She is survived by her daughter Buffy McCarley; brothers Ralph Pope of Tiffin, Ohio, John Pope of Shelbyville, Indiana, David Pope of Tiffin, Ohio; sister September Pope of Monroe, Michigan, and her grandchildren. Bonnie spent her last years with friend Gale Snider in Toledo, Ohio. Bonnie was a fun loving fee spirit with a big heart that could lift anyone up. She owned and operated Bonnie’s Barber Shop in Rossford, Ohio and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was also passionate about politics and loved her dog, Spike. Memorial services will be private.
