Bonnie M. Crego

May 22, 1925 — June 24, 2016

Bonnie Mae Crego, 91, passed away on June 24, 2016 in her home surrounded by her children and husband of 69 years, Glenn. Born on May 22, 1925 in Evansville, Indiana to Doris and Robert Romberger, Bonnie grew up in Toledo but spent all of her adult life in Sylvania, Ohio. She was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She was married in 1946 to Glenn E. Crego, and together they raised four children. Bonnie devoted her life to helping others, especially children with special needs. For many years, she volunteered at the Sunshine Childrens Home, where she helped to create and served as president of the Womens Auxiliary. Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert and Doris Romberger; her brother, Herbert; her sister, Lucille; and her daughter, Jill Ann. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn; her brother, Robert; her children, Craig (Robin), Clifton, and Nancy; her three grandchildren, Kelly, Maya, and Rachael; and her great-grandchildren, Autumn and Lincoln Waggoner all of whom brought her much love and joy. In the last forty years of her life, Bonnie found true peace and contentment as a Jehovahs Witness. She was a member of Park Maumee Congregation on McCord Road. To celebrate Bonnies life, a private remembrance service for family members only will take place late this month. For, it was Bonnies final wish that all family and friends should know that Jehovah has her in His heart.
