Beverly Sue Turner

January 14, 1943 — June 7, 2025

Beverly Sue Turner of Perrysburg, Ohio, was born January 14, 1943, to Joseph Beck and Lula Beck in St. Louis, Missouri. Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Bill Turner on August 4, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri. She left this earth peacefully in the early morning hours on June 7, 2025, at the age of 82 with her daughter by her side.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Turner; son, Brian Turner; her two brothers, Don and Stan Beck; and her parents, Joseph and Lula Beck. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gibson and her husband Chris Gibson of Toledo, Ohio; four grandchildren, Lane Gibson of Chicago, Illinois, Reece Gibson of Toledo, Ohio, Rachel Campbell of Prosper, Texas, and Amber Turner of Farmington, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Isla, Jade and Liv Campbell of Prosper, Texas; and a host of friends.

Beverly took great pleasure in cooking for her family and others. When called upon, she could cook up a feast, enough to feed an army. She had a knack for creating an atmosphere of celebration for any occasion. She was referred to as one of the last great cooks in our family.

Always the historian, she enjoyed planning family vacations filled with historical reference and adventure. Beverly was a reverent planner as well, honoring family members who had passed on. Every Memorial Day was an orchestrated time to gather together, eat, share stories and remember the family's past.

Beverly enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren, making those times special. Her "Gift of the Gab" allowed her to easily strike up conversations with family as well as strangers. She will be missed, especially as family milestones continue.

Beverly’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Northwest Ohio Hospice for their compassionate and loving care and especially to the daily nursing staff and aides at St. Clare Commons Community in Perrysburg, Ohio for their love and support of Beverly over the past two years.

Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow. -Romans 8:38
