Beverly Jean Hacker (Dickens) was born October 7, 1935 and passed away on February 10, 2023. Beverly was the daughter of George & Anna Dickens. She would marry Le Roy Hacker Sr. She is preceeded in death by her husband; son, LeRoy (Joe) Hacker, Jr.; her sister Mae Estep; and brother Charles Dickens. She is survived by her daughters, La Nette Hacker and Robin Isaacson (Tod Stader); 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her sister Sharon Downs; loving friends Sandy Hassel and Ailene Spencely; and "her girls" ; Beth Felser; Wendy Majewski ; Cindy Fairchild & Joy Rummel.
Beverly started her working career at Ohio Bell as a operator. She then moved on to be a stay at home mom until she began working in the cafeteria at Riverside grade school and then Woodward High School. She would go on to work and retire from 5/3rd bank. She was a devoted & energetic Girl Scout leader and an avid quilt maker. She has made quilts for Hospice of North West Ohio as well as being involved with her quilting club.
Beverly was know for her friendly smile, and her quick wit. She never met a stranger. She was the matriarch of the family and always a shoulder to lean on but, could be tough when called for. She will be deeply missed by many.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18th at Cass Road Baptist Church (1400 Cass Rd Maumee, OH) from 10-11:00 with service to follow at 11:30. A luncheon will follow the service. Donations can be made to Hospice of North West Ohio or Cass Road Baptist Curch.
