Betty J Spohn

Betty Jane (Wickett-Velker) Spohn passed away after a brief illness at the age of 85 on November 30 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her entire loving family. Betty was a 1945 graduate of Woodward High School and the loving wife of Oscar for 64 years. She was the proud mother of Mike (Cathy), Jeff (Pat), Greg (Cindy), Steve (MaryJo) both deceased, Randy (Kathy), and daughter, Sherry Nevins. Betty had 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and is also survived by her brother, Alan (Vicki) Velker, and sister, Shirley Gregorie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gladys Velker, and brother, Edward. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 12 noon at Moongate Adult Living, 930 Soda Park Drive Temperance, MI (South building).
