Bette J. Weisenberger

Bette J. Weisenberger, age 93, of Toledo Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 30, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born September 13, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Karl and Ester (Colgan) Kaiser. Bette was a 1942 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She then worked in the office at Sears Roebuck and Company, applying her diverse skills in many departments, such as utilizing her artistic skills designing signs for the store. Bette married Vincent Weisenberger on September 22, 1953, and together they raised two boys. Bette loved being outdoors, and thoroughly enjoyed tending to her garden. Bette is survived by her two sons James Weisenberger and John (Laura) Weisenberger. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Weisenberger, sister Rita Plummer, and brother Donald Kaiser. In keeping with Bette’s wishes there will be no funeral services or visitation. The family encourages everyone to celebrate her life and remember the times spent with her, and to hold those memories forever in their hearts. A special thank you to Otterbein Monclova and Hospice of Northwestern Ohio for all the wonderful care that they gave Bette during the last few weeks of her life.
