Bette-Lee Schneider

October 2, 1936 — November 27, 2023

Bette-Lee (Schultz) Schneider, 87 years old, a lifelong resident of Toledo, Ohio, died Monday, November 27, 2023, after a brief illness.


She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James A. Schneider; daughters, Julie (Jeff) King of Oakland, Tennessee and Janet Schneider of Toledo. Also surviving are her three granddaughters, Hillary, Olivia and Claudia; brother, Paul A. (Elizabeth) Schultz; and sister, Margie E. (Gonzalo) Campos, both of Toledo.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur C. and Mabel I. (Cully) Schultz, also lifelong residents of South Toledo, and sister, Kathleen Pauken.


A special thanks to Margie and Chalo for their support and love during this time.


An extra special thanks for their friendship and kindness shown to Bette and Jim over the years by Candice and Mustafa Ilgin, their children, and all of the fabulous café family at the Reynolds and Glendale Gardens.


Additional thanks to Molly and Dave from the Cremation Society of Toledo for the care and dignity they showed for Bette; and Sue from Ashanti Hospice for her support and caring for both Bette and family.
