Beryl E. Burt

Beryl Edwin Burt, age 86, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021. He was born on February 22, 1934 to the late M.B. and Evelyn (Hoover) Burt. Beryl was a 1953 graduate of Whitmer High School. He served in the USCG and retired from Teledyne CAE. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at Berry Lake in Reading, MI. He was also a member of the VFW 2898. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Annie Burt; children, Jim (Barb) Burt, Darlene (Jerry) Lenning, JoAnne (Tim) Jourdain, Connie (Chris) Mulinix, Tom (Sandy) Burt, Sharon Fear; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Allyn, as well as, many nieces and nephews. Beryl was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Appling; and grandson, Jared Fear. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his neighbors, Jeanine and Colleen from Hospice of Northwest Ohio and friend, Rob Grajczyk. There will be no services per Mr. Burt’s request.
