Bertha C. Earhart

Bertha (Bee) Carol Earhart passed away at home on October 20, 2026, with her beloved husband by her side.

Born in Ironton, Ohio, Bertha was the daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle Ray. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Adam Ray and Paul Jones, and her sister, Phyllis Jean Klapfish.

Bertha attended Stickney School and Woodward High School. She worked at Libbey Glass for 33 years before retiring and served as Vice President of Earhart Enterprises Inc.

Bertha enjoyed camping with her family in their motorhome, traveling to the Caribbean on many occasions, and, most of all, spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved opening her home to family and friends, hosting many gatherings and creating lasting memories with those she held dear.

Bertha is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Richard Earhart; her sons, Rick (Dawn) Earhart, Christopher (Lauren) Earhart, and Ryan (Jasan) Earhart; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation in Bertha's memory.
