Beatrice Szul

Beatrice “Bea” Szul, age 102, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, on November 2, 2024, with her grandchildren by her side. Beatrice devoted her life to her family and was most proud of having a hand in raising her two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the best “Busie” and loved them all as if they were her own children. Bea loved listening and dancing to Polish music, crocheting and cooking all her favorite Polish dishes, which will be carried on through her grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on S Detroit for their outstanding care and kindness.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony; son, Norbert; her parents; all of her siblings and some nieces and nephews. Survivors include her grandchildren, Cindy (John) Krotzer and Shawn Szul; great-grandchildren, Megan Krotzer, Rachel (Aaron) Kramer, Connor Szul and McKenna Szul; as well as nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to nieces, Kathleen McBride, Diane Lukasik and Jo Ann Korzec, for all your support and love.

As Busie always said at the end of a phone call or visit, “Dobranoc” (polish for goodbye/go to sleep) “Dobranoc” - Busie.

To honor her wishes, there will be no services.
