Barbara J. Scott

Barbara Jean Scott, 78, passed away on March 6, 2024 at Toledo Hospital. She was born on May 12, 1945 to Virge and Kathleen Secrest.

Barb graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1963 and attended the University of Toledo. She worked at Knauer Supply, Kaiser Aluminum, Red Cross, and Midwest Logistics. Barb enjoyed playing euchre, caring for her cats, and collecting Beanie Babies.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; and her parents, Virge Secrest and Katie Morris. She is survived by her brother, William (Janet) Secrest; nephews, Scott Secrest and Kevin (Tiffany) Secrest; great-nieces, Cameryn and Avery; and several cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Home - Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy, Holland, OH 43528. Memorial contributions in Barb's name may be made to Paws & Whiskers Cat Shelter, 32 Hillwyck Dr, Toledo, OH 43615.
