Barbara Morse DeLine, wife of Otis DeLine, passed away August 15, 2009 in the company of her family.Barbara Lou Staup was born May 6, 1929 to Kenneth & Etta (Hull) Staup and grew up on their farm at Lenawee Junction. She attended County Normal school for teachers and began her career in country schools. She married Robert Morse and moved to the Morse Family farm where they raised 2 daughters, Virginia & MaryAnn. Barbara completed her bachelor degree at Adrian College and her Masters at Siena Heights University. She taught elementary students at Alexander school in Adrian, MI and then spent the remainder of her teaching career at Hiawatha Elementary in the Washington Local School district.On November 30, 1992 she married Otis DeLine and they spent their retirement years traveling and enjoying time at the summer home on Devils Lake in Michigan and Yuma, AZ in the winter.She is survived by her husband, Otis E. DeLine, daughters Virginia (Jim) Hanes of Foss, OK, MaryAnn (Gary) Bettis of Blissfield, MI; her dearly loved 5 grandsons, Jason Knisel of Riga, MI, Brad (Amy) Bettis of Blissfield, MI, Garron (Jamie) Rorick of Jasper, MI, Craig Bettis of Stephenville, TX and Jerry (Kirra) Rorick of Foss, OK; great-grandchildren Cloe & Seth Knisel, Zoe Rorick, Quentin, Sarah & Carson Bettis. Joan Woodward, Bob Arthur and Curtis Rorick were special friends.At her direction, cremation has taken place. Cremation Society of Toledo has been entrusted with Barbaras care.
