Audrey I. Veleba

Audrey I. Veleba, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away peacefully at home on the morning of November 9, 2024.

She was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Florence (Stawicki) Schauer on September 11, 1939.

Audrey was artistic, enjoyed sewing, baking, and gardening. Audrey was a lifetime member of the Fremont, OH V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and had been a past volunteer at the Sandusky County Humane Society.

Surviving Audrey is her son, Terry (Michelle) of Fremont; grandsons, Alexander of Wakeman, OH and Kyle (Gabriella Gonzalez) of Dublin, OH; and niece, Denise Collins of Olmstead, OH.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Schauer, Florence and George Onody; husband of 27 years, Gerald C. Veleba; daughter, Shari L. Veleba; sister, Beverly Veleba and brother-in-law, Donald Veleba; and her beloved cat, Baby Kitty, who unexpectedly passed away that same evening of November 9th.

The family wishes to thank ProMedica Acute Care Department at Memorial Hospital, Heartland Hospice of Fremont, OH and the Rosary Alter Society of Sacred Heart Church in Fremont, OH. We would like to extend a special thank you to her good friend, Marge Hirt and wonderful neighbors, the Larry Dickman Family.

Per her wishes, Audrey wished to be cremated with a private burial at a later date.
