Arlene Theresa Stobinski of Oregon, OH, passed away on November 12, 2024. She was born to James and Naomi McKinlay, in San Francisco, CA, on February 29, 1948. She was a graduate of McLean High School, in McLean, VA. In her youth, she travelled with her family and lived in various locations such as South Africa, Venezuela and Germany. She worked as a secretary for Senator Cranston and as a customer service representative for Cutco cutlery, in Olean, NY. She was instrumental in the planning and implementation of the Allegany Elementary School playground in Allegany, NY. She also volunteered her time at hospice, being there for people in their final hours of need. She enjoyed fishing, bike riding, bowling and scenic drives.
Surviving is her loving husband, David Stobinski; her two daughters, Ashley Stobinski (Corey Duggan) and Lindsay Stobinski (David Burgess); her brother, James McKinlay; her sisters, Dianne Moore and Linda Conover; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Robert and Dale McKinlay.
Funeral arrangements will be held privately at a later date.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
