April Ann Thomas

April Ann (Kaufman) Thomas, 58, passed away peacefully at her home with family April 15th, 2023. She was born March 1st 1965 to Allen Kaufman and Carol (Easterday) Perry in Dayton, Ohio and was a graduate of Bowling Green High School. After graduation, she lived in a few local communities surrounding BG before settling ultimately back in what she considered to be her hometown of Rudolph, Ohio.

She leaves behind her loving partner Gary Poland, brother Daniel Kaufman, son Troy (Diana Tolles) Kaufman, and grandchildren Natalie and Tristen Kaufman. April was preceded in death by both of her parents and brother Harold Kaufman.

She will always be remembered for her love of her dogs and music, especially country. She was known to spend her time playing her guitars, camping, swimming and watching True Crime television shows. In recent years, her health has kept her from enjoying many of the things she once loved, but she continued to enjoy spending time and pizza with her grandchildren whenever possible.

Per April’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, those wanting to make a contribution in her memory may do so to through the American Diabetes Association.
