Anthony J. Rodriguez, Sr.

Anthony John Rodriguez Sr, 66, of Toledo, Ohio passed away in his home on Sunday, November 24, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Anthony was born on October 8, 1958 in Fostoria, Ohio to Elaine Ortega and Paul Rodriguez Sr. Anthony attended Macomber High School and then went on to be a roofer and a mover for many years for Stevens Van Lines.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine and his father, Paul. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carmella; his brother, Jimmy; and his son, Emilio Rodriguez. He is survived by his sons, Anthony (Tabitha) Rodriguez Jr, Micheal (Jennifer) Rodriguez, Emmanuel (Kristen) Rodriguez, and Joseph (Brittany) Rodriguez; brothers, Jesse Rodriguez, Paul (Mel) Rodriguez Jr, Rodney (Carla) Rodriguez, Jude (Jamie) Rodriguez; sister, Melinda (Phil) Rodriguez; and many grandchildren and family members.

Anthony loved the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved to ride his bike and playing the guitar. He also enjoyed fishing and barbeques with the family. He will be missed by so many.

He will be cremated and the family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm at Latinos Halls, 706 S St. Clair St., Toledo, Ohio 43609.
