Anthony V. Cappelletty

Anthony “Tony” Cappelletty of Toledo, Ohio, died peacefully on October 13, 2022 following a prolonged period of illness and incapacitation.

He was well known around town for his teal VW bus, which was adorned with hand-painted flowers, a project he completed with his mother while she was undergoing chemotherapy. His bus also served as his work truck as he traveled from Ohio to North Carolina and Florida, doing electrical work up and down the coast on the way to see his daughter and grandchildren.

Tony is survived by two brothers, Mike and Rick; sister, Lisa; daughter, Cristen; son-in-law, Jeff, and two grandsons, Troy and Beau. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lola, and father, Robert “Cap”.
