Angie L. Berridge

Angie L Berridge, 88, of Helena, Ohio, passed away August 1, 2023, at Otterbein Pemberville Senior Life Community. Angie was born in Bowling Green Hospital on January 20, 1935, to Dewitt & Bernice Shoemaker. Of the two children, Angie was the eldest child, and then her sister Pamela (Shoemaker) Cheyne. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1953. Angie Lou met George P Berridge II early in life and loved him for a lifetime. On July 5, 1952, they were married & started their life together. Their union was blessed with four children: Sheree (Berridge) Silcox, George Berridge III, Kevin Berridge, and Chad Berridge.

She was employed at Gift Horse and Associated Buyers, both located in Fremont, Ohio. Angie looked forward to decorating for the holidays. Her several Christmas trees always sparkled. She loved company and was a wonderful hostess. Angie was also a great cook, and her special homemade ice cream was a treat that will be missed. Vacations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, at Thunder Lake, were a very special time for her, and held so many terrific memories. Angie was a long-time member of the Eastern Stars. Her voluntary duties within the Eastern Stars helped to keep her active. She will be missed by all.

Those left to remember Angie are her children, Sheree Berridge (Mark) Silcox, George (Anesa) Berridge, III, Kevin (Ida) Berridge, and Chad (Stephanie) Berridge; grandchildren, Krista, Ian, Geoffrey, and Rheanna Berridge; great-grandchildren, Asher and Alex Berridge; sister, Pamela Cheyne; niece, Antonia Serwin, and niece, Tamara (Serwin) Baker.

Per Angie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial service. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 W McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
