Angela Habib

Angela Marie Habib, lovingly known as Angie, 50, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on July 29, 2025. Born on June 22, 1975, in Fort Wayne to Randy and Susan Smith, Angie brought light, laughter, and warmth to all who knew her.

A graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, Angie spent 20 years running her own restaurant where she poured her heart into her work. Later, she continued her hard work and dedication at Ding A Ling Answering Service as a shift supervisor, where her kindness and cheerfulness uplifted everyone around her.

Angie was the kind of person who could walk into your life and instantly make it better. She had a beautiful soul, a contagious laugh, and a heart full of love. She adored animals and rescued so many, she also loved nature, butterflies, and snowmen. She found joy in the simple things—riding in the convertible down peaceful country roads, walking dogs through the woods, sitting by the water, and most recently, making handmade blankets for those she cared about.

Angie is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Habib; stepdaughter, Alexis; stepson, Michael; and cherished grandchildren, Owen, Ella, and Aria. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Amanda Fowler, Summer Smith, Samantha Smith, and Ben Smith; along with many extended family members, friends, and coworkers whose lives she touched in countless ways.

She was deeply loved and is already terribly missed.
