Andre Stephen

Andre Stephen, 82, of Sylvania passed away after a short battle with cancer last week. Andre attended Scott High School, where he played football. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served in the Korean War. He spent his work career in sales. Andre was an extraordinary fisherman and hunter. He loved to spend time working on his garden, and was a gourmet cook.Surviving are his loving children Tracy Guthrie, Toni (Bob) Strack, Grant (Vicky) Stephen. Grandchildren Jordan, Logan and Riley Strack. Lauren and Evan Guthrie. Brittani and Madison Stephen, and his beloved great granddaughter Kennedy Strack. Hes also survived by his sister Phyllis and brother-in-law James Bundros. His former wife and long-time friend, Patricia Stephen. Also, his companion and confidant, Helen Dunlap and her family. Services will be private, per his wishes. Memorial tributes may be sent to The Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Superior Street, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or charity of donors choice.
