Amy M. Parker

Amy (Honey) Marie Parker (Dawson), age 71, died peacefully at home in Maumee, OH on June 20, 2023. She was born May 13, 1952 in Toledo, OH to Catherine (DeHay) Dawson and Thomas Dawson Sr.

Amy graduated from Woodward High School, and retired as a Deputy Sheriff from the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department.

She was lovingly referred to as “Honey”, and was a phenomenal grandma to eleven grandchildren, and great mother to her two girls. Honey loved to spend time with family, and she always had a story to tell you! She was the life of the party and was sure to make you laugh. She had many friends and anyone that knew her knew she’d give you the shirt off her back.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sally (Joe) and Casey (Bill); two brothers, Tim and Fred; her grandchildren, and many nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Parker, sister, Sally, and her mother and father.
