Amil D. Kamer

Amil Dominic Kamer, age 95, died on August 4th 2023. At the time, he was living with and being cared for by his loving daughter and family.

In his younger years, he worked as a plaster roofer, carpenter and maintenance man. Amil enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. Amil was a recovering alcoholic and as a member of Alcoholic Anonymous, he funded several people in their recovery.

He was married to Mary Jane (Lewallen) Kamer for many years and they had 3 children together. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Frank Kamer; mother, Rose Mary Feissle; his brothers, Karl Kamer, Robert Kamer and Joe Kamer; sisters, Louse Shepard, Hellen Boggs, Ginger Pugh, and Rosie Kamer; as well as his daughter, Vicki Crace. He is survived by his son, Darell (Sue) Kamer; daughter, Brenda (Gregory) Frosch; sister, Caroline (Robert) Werner; and his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

His graveside service will be held at a later date.
