Amanda M. Bassett

Amanda Marie Bassett, age 36, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. She was born on February 27, 1988, in Toledo, Ohio to Christy (Bassett) Miller and William “Butch” Miller, Jr.

She graduated from Wauseon High School. Following that, she attended Owens Community College. Amanda worked as a caregiver to the elderly, and was a gifted professional writer and artist.

Amanda is survived by her parents; brother, Joshua Miller; grandparents, Don and Sheri Bassett, and Deborah and Mike King; numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas Miller; cousins, J.J. Miller, Scott Heisinger, and Matthew James; grandfather, William Miller Sr.; and step-grandfather, Thomas Sloan. She was also preceded by her great-grandparents Charles and Eleanor Heisinger, with whom she was very close.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Outback Youth Center, 1211 S. Defiance Street, Archbold, OH 43502 on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:00 pm until later in the evening.
