Allen W. Stark

Allen Stark, 73 of Toledo, OH, passed away in St. Vincent Medical Center on Monday, October 11th. He was born in Sacremento, CA on August 30, 1948 to Max Stark and Jeanne (Conklin) Stark, who preceded him in death, as well as his son AJ. He leaves behind wife, Dawn (Hand) Stark; sons, Daniel (Vicki) Stark, Eric (Theresa) Stark, Matthew Hand; daughter, Andrea (Scott) Burkle; step-children, Chemean 'Beanie' (Lloyd) Sutton and Larry 'Shorty' Groth; many grandchildren; brother, Roger (Carol) Stark; sisters, Marcia Hardin and Valerie Newsome; and many nieces and nephews. Allen grew up in Point Place and after many years in Delaware, longed to return to his home town. Allen served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He was very good working with his hands and very artistic, becoming an excellent woodsmith. He drove trucks over the road with Cassel Trucking in Toledo, OH for many years before moving to construction at Breslin Construction in New Castle, DE, where he left many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Bedford Veteran's Center in his name. A memorial celebration of Allen's life is planned for Saturday, October 16th at 4 PM at 11743 Robinshire St., Temperance, MI 48182.
