Alice F. Ross

Alice Francis (Bancroft) Ross, age 85, of Toledo, passed away surrounded by family on November 20th, 2021. Born April 3, 1936, she was one of twelve children born to William and Lola Bancroft. After attending Woodward High School, Alice started working as an usher at the Valentine Movie Theatre and from there worked various jobs, finally retiring from raceway park after 16 years. Alice loved fishing throughout her life, as well as sports and video games. Most recently, her time revolved around her Nintendo Switch games, where she exchanged hints with her favorite niece, Jan. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles; daughters, Jackie and Julia; grandchildren, Charles and Jamie Lee; and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial will be announced at a later date.
