Alice J Kocsis

Alice Jane Kocsis, age 84, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania. She was born August 31, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Corwin Taylor and Florence Taylor-Strouse. She married the late Kenneth Kocsis, her husband of 58 years on April 22, 1961, at the Eaton Church of Christ.

Alice enjoyed listening to and attending country music concerts, visiting the Toledo Zoo, and sharing her love of flowers displayed in her yard. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Her other hobbies included shopping, board games, looking at pictures and mini golf.

Alice is survived by her children, Tammy (Kent) Kring, Kelly (Cipriano) Loeffler, Rodney (Roxann) Kocsis; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; both of her parents; and her 2 sisters.

At Alice’s request there will be no services. The family requests in lieu of flowers to donate to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
