Alice Lynne Gamber

Alice Lynne Gamber, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.

Alice was born, March 7, 1963, to John and Helen (Copus) Binkley in Monroe, MI.

Alice graduated in 1981 from Delta High School and Four County Joint Vocational School specializing in Secretarial Skills. Alice was listed in “Who’s Who in American High School Students". She was active in 4-H, Jr. Fair Board, Girl Scouts and Church Youth Group.

Alice married John Gamber in 1999. The Celebrated 26 years together. Alice was Married to Kenneth Lane from 1982-1997.

Alice was employed at Bax Global as a Sr. HR assistant, Fulton County Senior Center as the meals on wheels manager, Luther Home of Mercy as a Patient Relations Specialist, and TLC Childcare as an Administrative Assistant.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, John Binkley in 2019 and Helen Binkley in 2000; granddaughters, Trinity Earl in 2008 and Saphira Gamber in 2008 and 4 other grandbabies; father-in-law, O. David Miller in 2023.

Alice is survived by her husband, John A. Gamber; mother-in-Law, Midge Miller; children, Jacob (Mackenzie) Gamber of Wauseon, OH, Jamie Gamber (Russel) of Bowling Green, OH, Jonathon (Sarah) Lane of Wauseon, OH; Allyssa (Landon) Bratton of Englewood, FL, Justin (Hannah) Gamber of Wauseon, OH, Kyler Gamber of Wauseon, OH, and Addyson Gamber of Wauseon, OH. Alice is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and bonus children, Becky and Andrew Tanner.

Alice enjoyed line dancing, clogging, and western square dancing. She was a Sunday school teacher, Cherub choir director, and 4-H advisor for many years. Alice also has a love for camping and sitting outside by a fire. Alice’s proudest achievement in her life was her family and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 398 S. Shoop Avenue, Wauseon, OH 43567 from 4:00 pm until the memorial service at 6:00 pm. Cookie and punch reception to follow.
