Alan Ray Trumbull

Alan Ray Trumbull passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2022 at Hospice in Toledo, OH. He was born April 25, 1957 in Toledo, OH. to Jerrold and Crystal (Cairl) Trumbull.

Alan graduated from Sylvania Northview High School in Sylvania, OH. Alan worked for Temp Glass, Anderson's, New Horizons, Pathway and volunteered at Thomas M. Wernert Center. He was a sports fan, routing for the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Redwings and enjoyed watching Nascar. He enjoyed baseball cards and eBay. Alan attended Trinity Church of the Nazarene.Toledo, OH. He was part of the Sunday School program and regular worship services. He was always looking for someplace to serve in the church. Alan married Robin Grant on June 23, 2021. Although they knew each other for many years, they finally got together in October, 2007.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife, Robin Grant Trumbull; siblings, Jonathan (Helen) Trumbull, Cynthia Finnegan, Scott (Karen Jensen) Trumbull; brother in-law, Matt Schafer. Robin's family, Richard Jr., Ronald, Renee & Robert and step-daughter, Heather Marie Grant, along with many nieces & nephews.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shari (Trumbull) Schafer, brother-in-law, Dean Finnegan.

The family will be greeting friends and family at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 4930 Flanders Rd., Toledo, OH on Saturday, October 1st from 11 to noon followed by a memorial service led by Pastor Rick Ketterman.
