Aaron Lamar "Metro" Perry was born October 30, 1976, in Toledo, Ohio, to Barbara Barber. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 5:33pm at St. Vincent Hospital.

He attended Mckinley Elementary School and Leverette Junior High School, along with Libbey High School and Woodward High School.

He worked various jobs such as, Dailey's Carryout, he also worked at the Lions Den and Central Station, up until his passing.

Aaron enjoyed spending time with family and many, many friends.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Barbara Barber; his daughter, Kashyra Johnson; son, Lamar Mays; and one granddaughter, Chloe Hollman; sisters, Donyelle Perry and Shawna Perry; aunt, Joyce (Greg) Morris; 3 cousins, Clawzelle (Korie)Wiggins Jr, Lucretia Wiggins and Lanisha Morgan. He is proceeded in death by his sister, Shevella Perry; his grandmother, Margaret Givins; and aunt, Beatrice Wiggins.

Services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11 am at Spring Baptist Church 601 Spring Street, Toledo, Ohio 43608.
