Teddy R. Shrader

Teddy Ray Shrader, 57, of Toledo, OH, passed away in his home on Monday, August 14, 2023. Born November 29, 1965, he was the son of Ernest and Carol (Pressnell) Shrader.

Ted was a professional painter and spent his years mastering his craft. He was an avid sports watcher, rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes, Toledo Walleyes, Detroit Lions, Redwings, and the Tigers. When he wasn’t watching sports games, you could find him trash talking the Michigan Wolverines or listening to Pink Floyd. Most of all, he loved to gather with friends and family making memories or reminiscing about times of the past.

He is survived by his children, Sean (Angie) Curtis and Tyler (Allison) Shrader; grandchildren, Arianna, Adalynn, Urijah, Elijah Curtis, Desmond, and Aria Shrader; siblings, Brenda (Kerry) Trester and Rob (Tiffany) Shrader; friend/former spouse, Danette Shrader; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Carol Shrader, along with his siblings, Cindy (Ronnie) Hamblin and Candy Young.

A Celebration of Ted’s Life is being planned to take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023 with the place and time to be detemined.
