Susan E. Ewing

Susan Elizabeth Ewing passed away peacefully at Ebied Hospice surrounded by her family and dear friend of over 50 years, Kathy Maxwell. Susan was born on September 23, 1948 to Bernice Agnes (Bladel) Keeling and Roy Earl Keeling.

Susan married the love of her life, Jack Arthur Ewing on January 18, 1978 and together they raised their son Michael Roy Ewing, his 4 children, Veronica, Jay, Michelle, Roxanne, and grandson Michael Tyler Rhoades.

Sue enjoyed cooking for her family and any and all gatherings. She loved holding and rocking babies, shopping, and going to the casino where she was pretty lucky. Sue was an avid fan of the Detroit Redwings and Detroit Tigers and enjoyed going to see them play, as well as watching them on TV. She also had a great love for Adam Lambert whom she saw in concert 3 times, even traveling to Las Vegas to see him.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; a sister, Vicky Keeling; step-daughter, Michelle; and loving husband, Jack A. Ewing.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy (Mike) Cappelletty; son; Michael (Beth) Ewing; several grand and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; Aunt Shirley Bladel; and her beloved Maltipoo, Angel.

The family would like to thank Elara Caring Hospice, Hospice of NWO, Rachel Portnoy, and Kathy Maxwell for all they have done to assist us during Susan's journey. The family will have a private service and celebration of life.
