Paul W. Craddock

March 14, 1938 — March 13, 2023

Paul Woodrow Craddock, 85, of Napoleon, OH, passed from this life and went to be with Jesus on March 13, 2023. He departed from his home with family at his bedside.


Paul was born March 14, 1938 in Verden, Oklahoma to Van Edwin Craddock and Lucille Marie (Archer) Craddock. He enlisted in the Navy at 17 and served for 3 years. Paul retired from Sprint in 1996, capping a 50+ year career in telephony.


Paul loved animals from aquarium fish to the family dog, to the birds on the feeder and the deer he would track around town. He liked planting trees and fishing. He enjoyed golfing and watching football as well as playing chess and drinking coffee with his best friend. He loved to be surrounded by family and to hear his brothers make music. Paul was a devoted member of Turning Point Church.


Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Lucille; and his siblings, Leonard, Lonnie, Reginald, Ada (Craddock) Morris, David, J W and Dan.


He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Craddock; his children, Paula (Don) Mcdougle, Greg (Becky) Craddock, and Jeffrey (Alan) Dupureur; his brothers, Onis, Larry and Joe Bob; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; and his best friend, Jerry Endicott.


In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Turning Point Church of Archbold, Ohio.


A celebration of life potluck will be held at Turning Point Church on April 1st at 2:00 pm.
