Jeromy T. Mick

Jeromy (Tommy) Mick, age 44, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 17, 2023. Jeromy was born on February 23, 1979, to Paul and Janice Mick. He is survived by his mom, Janice (Donnie Stebbins) Mick; sister, Brenda Mick; sons, Ethen, Hunter, and Jorden Mick; niece and nephew, Caitlin Sheets and Skylar Marlow; uncle, Raymond (Diana) Hintz; and many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Mick; grandparents, Edgar and Eunice Klar; grandmother, Barbara Mick; great-grandmother, Isabella Phillips; uncles, Richard (Joyce) Hintz, Wayne Klar, and best buddy, Dustin Minarik.

Tommy loved with his heart on his sleeve. He was a kind and caring man who loved with all his heart and soul. He was a total goof ball, just to see you smile and laugh. He loved music, and dancing with his niece Caitlin, not caring what anyone thought! Just enjoying life with his family and favorite niece!

Tommy loved the beach and watching the waves rolling in. He was an avid Brown fan. He played football for Navarre Colts and at Waite High School. He always enjoyed time spent with his big brother, Dan Kissling.

Tommy made mistakes he always regretted and prayed he would one day be forgiven. He had many struggles through life, ups and downs, but always came around for his cherished family and friends. He was one of his moms’ rocks. Always helping her to do things she no longer could do. Spending time together. His smile and laugh were infectious.

Tommy was very caring and loving even to strangers, he would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He fiercely defended his family and friends. We have lost a good, kind man and God has gained one. He was loyal, and faithful to all he loved. Rest peacefully, dear one. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 4:00-6:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, on Airport Highway. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm. Please dress casual, as Tommy would have wanted.
