Jan C. Roe

Jan C. (Snyder) Roe, age 85 years old, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 21, 2024. Jan was born on January 29, 1939, in Toledo, the daughter of Harold Snyder and Etta Belle “Billie” (Wilson) Winzeler. Jan often told stories of her many trips to California, as a teenager, via Route 66. While there, she graduated from San Fernando High School. Years later, she came back to Ohio, where she was the kitchen manager for White Tower, for over 30 years. She then worked in dietary at Flower Hospital, in Toledo. In her spare time, Jan loved gardening, being outdoors, going to auctions, and reading books. She always looked forward to the Snyder family cookouts, where she cherished the time and memories spent with her family and close friends.

Jan is survived by her brother, David S. Snyder; daughters, Karen (Ed) Sarnecky, Cheryl Prall, Meg (Scott) Fuller; niece, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Barbara M. Snyder, and grandson Robert (Bobby) Gebhardt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2:00-6:00 pm at Memories Banquet Hall, 7332 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, Michigan 48182. Food and beverages will be provided.
