Burton And Geraldine Paulson

After 65 years of marriage, Geraldine, age 82, and Burton Paulson, age 85, passed away peacefully two days apart, surrounded by their loving family. Gerrie was born to George and Edith Purdy and will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, cook and a selfless person. Gerrie loved to spoil Burt, worked various jobs and retired from Vision Open MRI. Gerrie also enjoyed Red Hats, Shrine Dendarah Court, Libbey Girls and Lion Store reunions. Burt was born to Marion and Marion Paulson and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from the US Postal Service and loved to play cards, golf, travel, watch the Detroit Lions and take walks. Left to cherish their memory are daughters, Denise (Steve) Taddonio, and Brenda (Barry) Hawk; granddaughter, Julie (Jesse) Koelling and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke, and Connor Koelling. Gerrie and Burt are also survived by Gerries sister, Barbara (Bernie) Bellner and Burts sister, Barbara (Bob) Sanders; special lifelong friends, Jan and Tenley. A special thanks to all of their wonderful and dedicated nurses and caregivers, both private and the entire Ohio Living team.
