Tony retired as a truck driver and then worked for Motor Rebuilders for 3 years and as a handyman throughout most of his life. He enjoyed telling stories, camping, road trips, music, county fairs, festivals, parades, decorating his house and golf cart for the holidays, taking care of his flowers, and time spent with family and friends. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Karen Lohmeyer and her children, Gabriel Heck (Tonya) and Bethany Lohmeyer (Shawn), son William Korecki (Toni), and their children Joshua Erd (Kara), Matthew Korecki (Stephanie), Chad Korecki (Jennifer), and daughter Susan Bruner (Lyn) and their children Gwen Boughton (Matt) and Cassie Norden (Joel), Becky’s children Brande Twining and Edwin Seymour (Ericka), great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and ex-wife Ruth Korecki. Tony was predeceased by his late wife Barbara Korecki and daughter Rebecca (Becky) Korecki. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Church of God located at 507 N. Fulton Street, Wauseon, Ohio on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a service immediately following. Tony’s remains will be buried at Winameg Cemetery in Wauseon, Ohio. Grandpa or JaJa, as many knew him, made a huge impact on those who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
