Angela Marie Widmer

On October 9th, 2021 Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Angela’s death was extremely unexpected and sudden. Angela Marie Widmer was born on November 17, 1980 to Shelby and Terry Lockard. She is survived by her mother Shelby Mann, brother John Hensley, and her three children Ashley, Scott Jr. and Nathaniel. She is preceded in death by her father Terry Lockard. Angela was very passionate about the things she believed in. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was definitely a force to contend with and she surely was known for her generosity to those who needed help. She had a love for the broken, the misunderstood, the outcast, the shunned, the voiceless, the homeless, the drug addict and the forgotten sinner. It didn’t matter your circumstances; Angela was a bright light of hope in the darkness. She was known to collect and distribute anything for people in need. Angela held many certifications, one of them being a certified recovery coach. She studied Social Work at the University of Toledo for some time and was currently working on her business degree. Angela stood out in any room no matter the occasion with her vibrant personality and smile. You could always see her smile reflected in her beautiful green eyes. She loved gardening, fashion, music, worshiping Jesus and spending quality time with her boyfriend Bobby and their cat Gizmo. Memorial Services for Angela will be on Oct 23,2021 at Abundant Life Ministries Church, 8971 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI 48182. Visitation with the family will start at noon and services will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. If you plan on sending flowers the church will be accepting flowers on Friday between the hours of 10:30 am – 4:00 pm. On the day of her service you can park across the street in the bank parking lot. Angela will be remembered through those who loved and shared memories with her. We love and miss you Angela, rest peacefully.
