Laura L. Warner

Laura L. Warner, age 70, lost her battle with leukemia on Monday, February 1, 2010.  She was a volunteer for the Eleanor Khale Senior Center where she was also President of the Participant Council.  Laura loved NASCAR, traveling, fishing and bowling.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Ann); daughter, Cheryl Baker (Rob Baker); 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Preceded in death by a son, James Warner, Jr and grandson, Shane Warner.

A celebration of her life will be held at her residence on Friday, Feb. 5th from 12 to 8 pm. Online condolences may be shared below:

Entry: I am the daughter of Barbara Swain. My mom is living with my sister in Claire, Mich. Evelyn Korn called her and told her of your mother's passing. My mom wanted me to send the online condolences, as she does not have access to a computer. Your mom was a wonderful and fun person. My mother and your mother shared a deep friendship for many years. I am sure she will be greatly missed. Your family will be in our prayers for healing and grace.

Entry: I worked with Laura at Eleanor Kahle center, and I bowled with her at Twin Oaks bowling center. I have her bag and ball in my locker there, so when you want it let me know. I am hoping to get to her residence tomorrow afternoon, but right now I have a few comittments for tomorrow.
